Rome Elite Sports hosted a unsigned Senior showcase on Sunday afternoon at the Old Cass High School in Cartersville. These 3 participants made an impression on the evaluation staff.
LaShaun Lester RB (Chattooga Indians):
High school football fans in NWGA are very familiar with this 210 pound RB for the Indians. Lashaun had four consecutive 1000+ yard seasons and broke the school rushing record.
Sunday Stats:
4.41 = 40yd
4.02 = shuttle run
6.57 = L-cone drill
JJ Lewis (evaluator) : “Lester can run like the wind… All time leading rusher at Chattooga… He should be going to a power 5 school. Lester is D-1 talent that may very well end up in FCS or D-II”

Anthone Williams LB (Model Blue Devils)
Anthone played OLB/MLB for the Blue Devils is 2021. He squats 475, Bench 260, PC 250
5’8 200 pounds
Sunday Stats:
4.61 = 40yd
4.73 = shuttle run
7.29 = L-cone drill
JJ Lewis’s Evaluation: “He’s a little shorter than what coaches are looking for at linebacker, but his feet are quick, change of direction is great, & probably the best hands & eyes I’ve seen on a HS linebacker in awhile… He is seriously the prototype programs are looking for in these exotic zone defenses. Williams could easily play at FCS or D-II if given a shot”
Cameron Hunt ATH (Harrison Hoyas)
Sunday Stats:
4.52 = 40yd
4.61 = shuttle run
7.38 = L-cone drill
JJ Lewis: “Quick feet & quick hands Great change of direction Good ball handling skills”
