2021 Outlook:
The Bulldogs return 11 starters on offense and 10 on defense on a team that missed the A Playoffs by 10 points in 2020. The returners in 2021 include All Region RB Rob Brown, who rushed for 1235 yds and 19 TDs ’20, and LB Brantley Willbanks who led the NwGa area in total tackles with 128 last season.
NwGaFootball Take:
Always an advantage when you return so many guys on offense and defense. This will be the 2nd year under Coach Patrick and we really like the direction the Bulldogs are taking. A sleeper in 2021 is a kid we have liked since his freshman year at Chattooga..6’5 190 TE Cole Cavin.
Prediction: 2nd in 6A Public. Bowdon the obvious front runner and team to beat in 6A Public. With the returning guys on the Bulldogs I look for them to host a playoff game in 2021.
