Final Friday of the 2020 season and still lots to play for. Here are the Top 5 games to watch this week in NWGA.

#14 Bremen (5-4) at #4 Haralson Co (7-1):

A lot riding on this game for the Rebels. If they win they capture their 1st Region Title in school history. A loss, combined with a Callaway win, would put them as the 4 seed and headed to the Northeast corner of the state to play #2 Rabun Co in the 1st round of the playoffs.

#6 North Cobb Christian (7-1) at #7 Christian Heritage (6-1)

The Lions are another NWGA team looking to capture their 1st Region Title in school history. Christian Heritage is 6-0 since their opening loss to #2 Fellowship (43-21). In that 6 game stretch they have won 5 games by 20+ points while averaging over 38 points a game and throwing 2 shutouts.

Model (5-4) at Gordon Central (3-6)

The Warriors and Head Coach TJ Hamilton can still play their way in to the State playoffs with a win at the “Rat” on Saturday at 12 noon. If Gordon Central wins they capture the 3 seed, Model 4. If the Warriors lose, Model is 3 and Chattooga sneaks in as the 4.

LaFayette (4-4) at North Murray (5-3)

A win by the Ramblers not only guarantees them a playoff spot but give them the 3 seed, bumping the Mountaineers to the 4.( Even with a loss the Ramblers still are in the playoffs if Ringgold loses to Rockmart Friday night)

NW Whitfield (6-2) at Pickens (3-5)

The Bruins and the Dragons are playing for a spot in the playoffs. NW could finish the Region as high as 2 with a win but in the scenarios I have seen they are eliminated with a loss. Pickens must win to get in.

Bonus Games:

Adairsville at LFO;

Paulding Co at Rome;

Rome could potentially win the Region Title if Carrollton falls to Douglas Co. Adairsville needs a win to assure a 1st round home game next week.
