2021 Outlook:
Offensive coordinator Austin Crisp returns a lot of production in 2021. The Tigers averaged over 30 points a game this year and will return several big play makers. Rising Senior RB Kori Dumas had several 200+ yd games in 2020 including a 5 TD game. Senior QB Mason Parker is another Tiger that had a breakout season in ’20 and combined with WR Malachi Hill will give the Tigers some balance. Levi Gunn and Logan Goldsmith bring experience back to the OL and look for Payton Williams to get some carries at RB in 2021.
Defensively the Tigers return several playmakers for DC Houston White. Rising Senior DB Kyle White , 3x All Region, will led an experienced secondary group along with Isaac King. Defensive lineman Brandon Orman and LB Cole Carlock are the other returning starters for the Tiger defense.
NwGaFootball Take: As far as returning talent on offense goes in 6AAA, the Tigers are hard to beat. Defense is a question mark, giving up several big scores last season, but its possible this offense may just outscore everyone in 2021. If the defense steps up this season it is possible the Tigers could compete for a home playoff game, if not the Region Title.
Prediction: 2nd in 6AAA
