6AAA: Road to the Title

Head coach Biff Parson leads the Rockmart Yellow Jackets in their quest for a 4th straight Region title. Photo:

On the surface it looks like a easy formula in 6AAA. If Rockmart can win out they are the champs but things get complicated in the 6AAA playoff picture after that.

If they win out:

Rockmart: The Jackets travel to Adairsville this Friday in what many think is the last shot to knock the Yellow Jackets off the top. Rockmart has Adairsville, LaFayette and Ringgold remaining and if they win all 3 they capture their 4th straight Region title.

Adairsville: Two big weeks coming up for the Tigers, hosting Rockmart 11/6 and North Murray 11/13. If the Tigers win both of these games and finish off with a win vs LFO they will be Region Champs due to the tiebreaking win over Rockmart.

LaFayette: The Ramblers still have games left with Region leading Rockmart and North Murray. If LaFayette can avoid the upset this Friday and sweep the Final 2 games they would be Region champs…that is IF Adairsville loses to Rockmart or North Murray since the Tigers hold the tiebreak over the Ramblers.

North Murray: Tougher path for the Mountaineers as they will need some help. If North Murray sweeps their final 3 games (Murray, Adairsville, LaFayette) they would need for Rockmart to drop 2 of their final 3 games to win the title as Rockmart holds the head to head tiebreaker.

Still possible to have a 3 way tie for the Region title. I’m not sure about the tiebreaking criteria in 6AAA as each Region has their own set of rules.

Continue below for 6AAA playoff picture:

If you think these 4 teams are locks for the playoff spots in 6AAA, not so quick my friend. The Ringgold Tigers are actually sitting in a pretty good spot. If the Tigers can win 2 of their last 3 (Coahulla Creek, Sonoraville, Rockmart) and Adairsville loses 2 of their last 3 (Rockmart, North Murray, LFO), Ringgold sneaks into a possible 3 way tie for the #4 spot with LaFayette and Adairsville.

Calpreps Prediction if Adairsville over North Murray

1 Rockmart (8-0)

2 Adairsville (6-2)

3 North Murray (6-2)

4 LaFayette (5-3)

5 Ringgold (5-3)

Calpreps if North Murray over Adairsville

1 Rockmart (8-0)

2 North Murray (7-1)

3T Adairsville (5-3)

3T LaFayette (5-3)

3T Ringgold (5-3)

Region 7AA Breakdown

Chad Cheatham has the Fannin Co Rebels poised to win the 7AA Title

We look at all the possible playoff scenarios Region 7AA.

#1 Seed Fannin County: The Rebels, barring a monumental collapse, will win the 7AA Title. They already hold tie breaking wins over Model and Pepperell and travel to Chattooga on Friday. Win that one and all that is left is Coosa and Dade, games they should be double digit favorites in.

Dark Horse: Chattooga still has games against GC, Fannin , Model and Pepperell left. If they could run the table they would win the Region Title with the tiebreak win over Fannin.

#2 Seed: The most likely scenario is this weeks winner of Pepperell at Model. Chattooga still has games against both Pepperell and Model. If the Indians can avoid the upset Tuesday vs GC and run the table they would get the #2 spot.

#3 Seed: The loser of the Pepperell/Model game faces a showdown with Chattooga for the #3 spot.

#4 Seed: This is where the fun begins:

Dade County: They hold the tiebreaker with Chattooga thanks to their 19-14 win on Friday. The Wolverines must go 2-1 in their final 3. Which includes a trip to Coosa this Friday and they will host GC and Fannin the final 2 weeks. They also have to be big Model and Pepperell fans when these 2 play Chattooga.

Chattooga: Chattooga must beat Gordon Central Tuesday and than win one of their final 3 over Fannin, Model, or Pepperell. If Dade loses to Coosa or Gordon Central than the Indians only need to beat GC to get in .

Gordon Central: The Warriors playoff game is tomorrow (Tues 11/2) when they travel to Chattooga. A win over the Indians sets up a potential playoff game between Gordon Central and Dade County for the #4 spot (If Dade wins at Coosa) Like Dade, Warrior fans would become big Pepperell and Model fans down the stretch.

Calpreps Predictions below ad

1 Fannin County (6-0)

2 Pepperell (5-1)

3 Model (4-2)

4 Dade (2-4)

5 Chattooga (2-4)

6 Gordon Central (1-5)

7 Coosa (0-6)

Interesting side note: Calpreps has the Dade/Coosa, Dade/GC and the Chattooga/GC games all separated by 3 points or less. Throw in the 1.5 pt spread in the Pepperell/Model game and we are in for a fun finish in 7AA.

Playoff Outlook (10/31)

We will take a look at how each Region is stacking up as we wind down 2020. Several teams, Villa Rica, Gordon Central and Dade Co helped themselves last night with wins.

1 (4-0) Carrollton

2 (3-1) Douglass

3T (3-1) Rome

3T (3-1) Alexander

Last Night: Only one game : East Paulding defeated Paulding County 41-19 it what more than likely ended Paulding Co chance at making the playoffs.

Carrollton still has games left with Alexander and Douglas Co.

Douglas Co gets the nod at 2 with a tiebreaking win over Alexander.

This Week: Alexander visits Rome. If Alexander wins Douglas Co most likely finishes the #2 seed, Alexander #3 and Rome #4.

If Rome wins it sets up a game Nov 13 vs Douglas County for what would be the #2 spot and a home playoff game.

Early line has Rome by 3.

1 (2-0) Cartersville

2 (1-0) Blessed Trinity

3 (2-1) Calhoun

4 (1-2) Hiram

The big matchup between Cartersville and Blessed Trinity was cancelled Friday due to Covid. Hopefully it will be rescheduled and will serve to be the Region title game.

Hiram Hornets pulled a big upset over Cass Friday 38-14 and took control of the #4 spot. All the Hornets have left to do now is beat Woodland 11/13 and they will clinch a spot in the post season.

This week: Big guys vs the little guys. Big guys look to avoid a letdown. Cass needs a win over Calhoun this week or over Blessed Trinity next week to keep slim playoff hopes alive.

1 (3-1) Chapel Hill

2 (3-1) Villa Rica

3 (2-1) Lithia Springs

4 (2-1) Manchester

Villa Rica holds the tiebreaker over Lithia Spring with their 30-27 win Friday night . They face New Manchester Friday at home and a win will more than likely give them the #2 seed in the playoffs (they lost to Chapel Hill earlier in the season)

1 (3-0) Cedartown

2T (1-1) Central Carroll

2T (1-1) Ridgeland

4 (1-2) Northwest Whitfield

Things could get confusing in 7AAAA before it is over. Cedartown has a firm grasp on the Region right now. Central Carroll can still win the Region if they can run the table including a win at Cedartown on 11/13.

Northwest Whitfield Bruins got a much needed win over Heritage Friday and are sitting in the #4 spot.

Heritage is now in a tough spot with losses to Ridgeland and NW if tiebreakers come into play.

Pickens has been on covid quarantine for 2 weeks and could still factor in once their play resumes. Their only loss in the Region is vs Cedartown.

This Week: No Region games scheduled. Region play will resume 11/13

1 (5-0) Rockmart

2T (4-1) North Murray

2T (4-1) Adairsville

4 (4-1) LaFayette

All 4 top teams got wins this weekend. Barring a monumental upset Rockmart should win the Region (Adairsville will have a say this week).

The Battle is going to be for the #2 spot and the right to host a playoff game. Adairsville holds tiebreaker over LaFayette and the game Nov 6th ..North Murray at Adairsville will determine the #2 seed.

This Week: Adairsville hosts Region leading Rockmart and a win by the Tigers would put them in the top spot.

Gilmer dropped to 1-3 in the Region but the formula is simple for them. Win the next 2 weeks over West Hall and White County and they are in the playoffs. Lose 1 and they are probably out.

1T (1-0) Callaway

1T (1-0) Haralson Co

3 (1-1) Temple

4T (0-1) Bremen

4T (0-1) Heard Co

This Week: Heard at Haralson; Temple at Bremen

Bremen and Heard Co can shake things up this week with upset wins but it looks right now like the Bremen at Heard Co game on Nov 13 is the Rabun Co sweepstakes. Winner gets the #4 seed and loser missed the playoffs.

Thanks to a big 3OT win last night over Temple the Haralson Co vs Callaway game on Nov 10th will be for the Region title, barring upsets and that is not far fetched in this Region loaded with good teams.

1 (3-0) Fannin Co

2T (2-1) Model

2T (2-1) Pepperell

4 (1-1) Chattooga

Dade County and Gordon Central shook things up this week. Dade upset Chattooga and GC scored 3 TDs late to beat Coosa. Both are licking their chops now waiting for the Indians to drop another game.

Fannin has wins over Model and Pepperell and has more or less wrapped up the Region Title.

Gordon Central get their chance Tuesday when they visit Chattooga. A win by the Warriors would slide them into the #4 spot.

Dades playoff chances probably depend on the Nov 13th game when they host Gordon Central. If the Wolverines can avoid being upset by Coosa a win over the Warriors could put them in the #4 spot.

1 (2-0) Bowdon

2 (1-0) BEST

3 (1-1) Gordon Lee

4 (1-1) Mt. Zion

Barring something crazy happening these are your 4 playoff teams in 6A.

Gordon Lee visits BEST Thursday night and the winner will probably host a playoff game the last week of November. A BEST win Thursday puts them in a position to challenge Bowdon for the Region Title when they visit the Red Devils on Nov 13.

7A Private

1 (2-0) Christian Heritage

2 (1-0) North Cobb Christian

3 (1-1) Darlington

4 (0-1) Mt. Paran

Big win for Christian Heritage over Darlington Friday night putting them in a position to win the Region title.

The Lions host North Cobb Christian the final week of the season and barring any upsets this game will be for the Region title.

Darlington hosts North Cobb this Friday and a win by the Tigers will give them a potential home playoff game and could set up a 3 way tie for the top spot if North Cobb beats Christian Heritage Nov 20.

The #4 spot will be Mt. Paran v Walker winner

Playoff Race (10/24)

1 Carrollton 4-0

2 Douglas Co 3-1

3T Rome 3-1

3T Alexander 3-1

Carrollton still has games left with Alexander and Douglas Co.

Douglas Co gets the nod at 2 with a tiebreaking win over Alexander.

Rome still has Alexander and Douglas Co on the schedule. The #2 spot is in their hands.

Dark Horse: Paulding Co: They round out the season with the easiest schedule remaining. They finish the season with a trip to Rome and if they can pull the upset coupled with their win over Douglas Co they could sneak into the playoffs.

1 Cartersville 2-0

2 Blessed Trinity 1-0

3T Calhoun 1-1

3T Cass 1-1

Big one this week when Blessed Trinity visits Cartersville. This one is for the Region title.

Cass can lock up a playoff spot this week with a win at Hiram.

Big games on the horizon: 11/6 Cass at Calhoun; 11/13 Cartersville at Calhoun

1 Cedartown 2-0

2 Ridgeland 1-0

3 Heritage 1-1

4 Central 1-1

Ridgeland visits Cedartown this Friday for the battle for the top spot.

Still a lot to sort out but Ridgeland holds the tiebreaker over Heritage and Heritage over Central thanks to their 28-27 win on Friday.

NW Whitfield has games remaining at Heritage this Friday and host Ridgeland on 11/13, must wins for the Bruins.

Pickens is inactive for 2 weeks due to covid and could factor in late.

1 Rockmart 4-0

2T North Murray 3-1

2T Adairsville 3-1

4 LaFayette 3-1

I don’t see anyone challenging Rockmart for the 6AAA Title. It is theirs to lose.

Adairsville holds the tiebreaker with a win over LaFayette and will host North Murray 11/13 with a possible home playoff game on line.

Dark Horse: Ringgold: The Tigers will need some help but they hold a tiebreaker over Adairsville.

Gilmer is 1-2 in Region play with loses to two of the top teams in the Region (Cherokee Bluffs and Dawson Co).

The Bobcats host Region leading North Hall this week. It would be great if they were able to pull the upset but even if they don’t they can get into the playoffs with win the final 2 weeks of the season vs West Hall and the final game vs White Co. (That game may end up being a playoff game before the playoffs)

1 Temple 1-0

2T Callaway 0-0

2T Haralson Co 0-0

2T Bremen 0-0

Temple can breath a sigh of relief with their comeback win in OT over Heard Co.

Callaway and Haralson Co are scheduled to make up their game Tuesday due to a Covid cancelation on Friday. Then both turn around and play Saturday: Callaway v Bremen and Haralson v Temple.

Dark Horse: Heard Co: The Braves will have to win 1 of the last 3 over Callaway, Bremen, or Haralson Co to get in.

1T Fannin Co 2-0

1T Model 2-0

3 Chattooga 1-0

4 Pepperell 1-1

Big one this Week when the Model Blue Devils travel to Fannin Co with the 7AA top spot on line.

Pepperell and Gordon Central play a make up game on Monday and I’m willing to go on a limb and say if the Dragons win the 4 team playoff field is set. It will just be a matter of setting the order going forward.

4 BEST 0-0

I like Bowdon’s chances at winning the Region Title with their win over Gordon Lee 2 weeks ago.

Gordon Lee had a big win (42-7) over Mt. Zion Friday that gives them the inside track to the #2 spot.

Still waiting to see what BEST bring to the table in 6A. Their game at Armuchee was canceled Friday. They will open the 6A schedule at Trion on Friday.

Dark Horse: Trion: If Trion can upset BEST this week they still have Mt.Zion on the schedule 11/13. A win over the Eagles could potentially get them in the playoffs.

Darlington survived a scare this week. Coming from behind to beat a good Mt. Paran team 30-27. Setting up a showdown at Christian Heritage for the top spot.

The winner of this one will have their eyes set on North Cobb Christian for the Region Title. Loser in all likelihood travels week 1 of the playoffs.

1 Cedartown 2-0

2 Ridgeland 1-0

3 Heritage 1-1

4 Central 1-1

5 Pickens 0-1

6 NW Whitfield 0-2

Results from last week:

#6 Cedartown 44 Northwest Whitfield 8: CJ Washington led the Bulldogs with 160 yards on 12 carries and scored 4 TDs. Sophomore RB Harlem Diamond added 99 yards and a score. Cedartown built a 37-0 halftime lead and never looked back.

Heritage 28 Central Carrollton 27: The Generals rallied back from a 14-0 1st Q deficit to upset the Lions on a late TD run by freshman QB Brady Chandler. A big night for the Heritage receivers. Logan Lowe has 130 yards and 2 TDs, all in the 1st half, and Ryan Heet had 100 yards receiving and INT a pass on the Lions final drive. Standout LB Zach Brown blocked a XP which proved to be the difference in the game.

Continue Below for this weeks preview

This Week

#6 Cedartown at Ridgeland: The battle for the top spot in 7AAAA. Ridgeland player their best game of the season last game out and will need to kick it up a notch if they want to upset the Bulldogs.

NwGaFootball Keys to the Game: Cedartown: Continue to run the ball well. CJ Washington had his best game of the season last week at Northwest Whitfield and sophomore Harlem Diamond has added a spark to the Bulldog offense the last few weeks.

Ridgeland: Needs big plays on both sides of the ball. SR RB Jeremiah Turner had over 200 yards rushing to go along with a handful of tackles and an INT against Heritage in their win 2 weeks ago. The Panthers will also need to play a mistake free game and limit penalties or this game could get out of hand quick.

Calprep Prediction: Cedartown 35 Ridgeland 7

Northwest Whitfield at Heritage: Northwest has dropped two games in a row after opening the season 4-0. Heritage’s win last week stopped a 3 game skid after they opened 2020 3-0.

Northwest is in a desperate need for a win. A loss here would put them in a must win situation the final 2 weeks of the season.

NwGaFootball Keys to the Game: Northwest Whitfield: Young guys on defense have to step up. Several key players on defense were missing or banged up last week and yet to be seen what their status is for Friday. During the Bruins 4-0 start the defense gave up 43 total points. The last 2 games they have yielded 49 points per game.

Heritage: Get pressure on the QB. Bruins sophomore QB Owen Brooker is one of the best YPG passers in NWGA and with time he can hurt you. Stay healthy…the Generals had a lot of key players banged up last week.

Calpreps Prediction: Heritage 28 NW Whitfield 23

Playoffs Week 7

Week 7 saw some upsets all around NWGA. We are looking forward to what week 8 has in store. Here is the playoff projections by NWGA Regions as we stand now.

1 Carrollton 3-0

2 Douglas Co 2-1

3T Rome 2-1

3T Alexander 2-1

The big news in 5AAAAAA this week was Paulding Co upsetting Douglas Co 22-20. Paulding is right on the cusp on the Top 4 at 1-1 and will get their chance to knock off Carrollton this Friday.

Barring any upsets Carrollton looks to have a firm grip on the top spot. Douglas Co gets the nod at 2 having beat Alexander head to head. Rome still has Alexander and Douglas remaining on their schedule.

The Top 4 teams play the bottom 4. Good chance for the up and comers to get back in the race.

1T Cartersville 1-0

1T Calhoun 1-0

3T Woodland 0-0

3T Blessed Trinity 0-0

Business as usual Week 7 with Cartersville and Calhoun both winning big.

Things heat up this week when #7 Calhoun host #2 Blessed Trinity. The winner of this one will have their sights set on the Hurricanes for the Region title.

Cass visits Woodland and the winner here, realistically speaking, will have the inside track to the #4 playoff spot with only Hiram standing in their way.

1 Chapel Hill 2-0

2 Lithia Spr 1-0

3T New Manchester 1-1

3T Villa Rica 1-1

5 Grady 1-1

The lone team we follow in 6-AAAAA, Villa Rica, is sitting in good shape for a post season birth. They visit a struggling North Springs team this Friday and already have a tie breaking win over Grady. The Wildcats have Lithia Springs and New Manchester the following 2 weeks so they can better their position.

1T Cedartown 1-0

1T Central Carroll 1-0

1T Ridgeland 1-0

4T NW Whitfield 0-1

4T Heritage 0-1

4T Pickens 0-1

Big story from Week 7 was Ridgeland upsetting Heritage behind a big game from Jeremiah Turner and Pickens 14-0 lead on Cedartown in the 1st quarter.

This week all 3 1-0 teams square off against the 3 0-1 teams with the headline game being Cedartown at NW Whitfield. Important week for the 0-1 teams, must win this week to have a legitimate shot at hosting a playoff game.

1 Rockmart 3-0

2 Ringgold 3-1

3 Adairsville 2-1

4T North Murray 2-1

4T LaFayette 2-1

Big story in 6AAA for the week was LFO knocking off Sonoraville. The Phoenix were a lot of peoples preseason pick to challenge North Murray and Rockmart for the Region Title but are now sitting at 0-3 and have an uphill climb just to make the post season.

Still lots to sort out in 6AAA. Adairsville gets the nod at 3 with the win over LaFayette but North Murray still as games against LaFayette/Adairsville remaining.

LaFayette can shake things up even more this week if they can upset the surprise team of 2020 the Ringgold Tigers this Friday. Coahulla Creek plays 2 games this week due to Covid makeups and could jump right back in the mix with a couple of wins.

The lone team we follow in 7AAA, the Gilmer Bobcats, are sitting in the #4 spot at 1-1 after a very impressive showing this week. The Bobcats scored 62 1st half points in a 62-7 win over Lumpkin Co.

Tough task this week as they travel to Dawson Co but the Bobcats gave Region leading Cherokee Bluffs all they could handle 2 weeks ago.

5AA and 7AA Below Ad

It starts this week with 5 of the Top 19 teams in all of AA battling it out for the 4 playoff spots.

#3 Callaway at #6 Haralson County

#13 Temple at Heard County

Not a must win game for anyone by any stretch but the winners of these 2 games in most likely hood will qualify for the playoffs.

1 Fannin 2-0

2 Model 1-0

3 Pepperell 1-1

4 Chattooga 0-0

Fannin Co was very impressive in what many think was the 7AA title game this past Friday. Model and Chattooga will have a say in this as Model looked impressive Friday in a 34-6 win over Coosa and we have yet to see what the Chattooga Indians bring to the table.

This week Chattooga opens the Region schedule hosting Coosa. Dade Co is on the road at Model and Pepperell is at Gordon Central. Fannin is playing a non region game at Copper Basin, Tn before hosting what could be a battle of Region unbeatens next Friday in Blue Ridge.

6A Public

2-0 Bowdon

1-0 Mt Zion

0-0 Best

0-1 Trion, Armuchee, Gordon Lee

Bowdon showed why they were the preseason favorite last week with a hard fought 23-21 win over Gordon Lee.

Mt. Zion is 6-0 and has a chance to prove the doubters wrong this week when they travel to Gordon Lee. A win here by the Eagles sets up a potential Region Title game in 2 weeks when the Eagles host Bowdon on Nov 6.

BEST has yet to get underway but they will open this week at Armuchee.

7A Private

Region play gets underway this week with:

Mount Paran at Darlington;

Christian Heritage at Walker

Barring some major upsets (combined record of Mt. Paran and Walker is 1-10) both Darlington and Christian Heritage should be 1-0 when they square off in Dalton with the winner challenging North Cobb Christian for the Region Title

4 South Paulding 1-1

4T Alexander 1-1

Rome gets the nod here at 3 with a 22-20 win over South Paulding. This Region looks like it will not be settled until Week 9 and 10 when South Paulding and Alexander meet in what could possably determine the #3 or #4 seed. The final week of the season Douglas Co visits Carrollton in what could be the Region Championship.

Region 7AAAAA

Region 7AAAAA opens this weekend with two games.

#6 Cartersville at #11 Cass

#7 Calhoun visits Hiram.

Region 7AAAA

All 6 teams get underway this Friday in Region play.

Pickens Co at #9 Cedartown;

Heritage at Ridgeland;

NW Whitfield at Central Carrollton:

Barring any big upsets Cedartown and Heritage should move to 1-0.

The big one is Friday in Carrollton; NW Whitfield comes in 4-0 and ranked #6 in the AJC poll. Central has been playing well the last two weeks, knocking off a ranked Heard Co team last week on the road.

The winner of this one will be in the drivers seat to challenge Cedartown for the Region title and potentially host a playoff game in late November.

Region 6AAA

1 #8 Rockmart 2-0

1T North Murray 2-0

1T Adairsville 2-0

4 LaFayette 2-1

4T Ringgold 2-1

Big one this Friday when the Mountaineers host Rockmart. Both teams come in as defending Champs from 2019 in their respective Regions and the winner Friday will be the odds on favorite to repeat in 2020.

Adairsville (2-0) travels to Ringgold (2-1) Friday in the battle of the Tigers. Adairsville has looked impressive on both sides of the ball in their opening 2 region games. They can’t look past Ringgold. The Ringgold version of the Tigers have a potent offense behind Kori Dumas and leading tackler Kyle White on defense and would like nothing better than to spoil Adairsville shot at a Region crown.

Don’t count them out: Sonoraville Phoenix (0-2) The Phoenix fell short against the top 2 teams in the Region in weeks 1 and 2. They will be dangerous down the stretch behind senior QB Brady Lackey and I wouldn’t be shocked if they ran the table.

Region 7AAA

The only team we follow in this Region is Gilmer Co but we will keep you updated on with the Bobcats.

Gilmer fought hard last week on the road at Cherokee Bluffs with 5 starting OL out. They have a good chance to get back to .500 in the Region this week when they host a 0-4 Lumpkin Co team.

Region 5AA

The highly anticipated Region 5AA schedule begins next week. I can’t wait.

Region 7AA

1 Fannin Co 1-0

1T Pepperell 1-0

3T Coosa 0-0

3T Chattooga 0-0

3T Model 0-0

Fannin Co (1-0) at Pepperell (1-0)

No way to sugar coat it..Friday is a big one. Many people who follow 7AA in NWGA have been waiting for this matchup since the new Region alignment was announced last Spring. I’m going to go out on a limb, a sturdy one, and say the winner of this one wins the 7AA Title.

Model (0-0) at Coosa (0-0): The winner of this one will be in good shape to make a run at a postseason game and challenge for the Region title.

Chattooga (0-0): Still under Covid quarantine. We will have to wait until next week to get a look at the Indians, about 5 times in 18 days.

Still a couple week away until this 5 team Region gets underway. Looks like its going to be 3 team shoot out between #6 Christian Heritage, #14 Darlington and #4 North Cobb Christian.

6A Public

Only 1 game in the books so far. Bowdon beat Trion 42-20 last week to be the only team in the 6 team Region to be 1-0.

This Week:

Armuchee (0-0) at Mt. Zion (0-0): In a 6 team region this is a big one for both teams. The Mt. Zion Eagles have started the season at 5-0 and a win puts them in a hunt to compete for the Region title. Armuchee needs this win to accomplish their goal of making the post season.

#14 Gordon Lee (0-0) at Bowdon (1-0): The Gordon Lee Trojans are starting to catch the attention of fans around the State. They lead NWGA in scoring at 45 pts a game and head to Bowdon to face the preseason favorite Red Devils who looked healthy last week for the 1st time this season.
