#14 Darlington Tigers (0-0)

The Tigers were off last week. They open at home this Friday night vs Lakeview Academy led by former Flowery Branch and Rabun Co Head Coach Lee Shaw. The Lions opened the season last week with a 48-13 loss to Mt. Paran but will be a good early season test for this young Tiger team.

6A Public

#6 Bowdon Red Devils (1-0)

Bowdon opened the season last week with a 34-14 win over rival Temple. Junior QB Robert McNeal accounted for over 300 yds offense and Senior Tanner Langley had 145 yds receiving. The Red Devils broke the game open in the 3rd Q scoring 27 unanswered points.

Mt. Zion Eagles (1-0)

The Eagles jumped on Central Talbotton early leading 48-0 at one point to eventually win 48-14.

This Week: The Eagles are once again at home and get a chance to get warmed up for Region play as they host GISA Creekside Christian. Creekside dropped their opener 46-0 to Ga Military on Friday.

Trion Bulldogs (0-0)

Trion was off last week and open their season at home this Friday vs the Coosa Eagles from Region 7AA, the NwGAFootball GOTW. If last years game is any indication this should be a barn burner as both teams combined for 96 points at Coosa in 2020.

Armuchee Indians (0-0)

The Indians had to postpone their opener last year but look to get 2021 underway this Friday in front of the home fans when they host Towns Co . Last years game was a defensive slugfest with the Indians pulling the game out 10-7. Towns opened their season last week with a 29-6 win over Kings Academy.

Gordon Lee Trojans (0-1)

The Trojans started the game last week at Dade Co with a flare. Nate Dunfee returned the opening KO for a TD and would later score again for Gordon Lee. It was tough sledding for the offense after that against a solid Wolverine defense dropping the game 21-12 on the road.

This Week: They host 0-0 LFO who had their season opener postponed last Friday.
