2020: 2-6 (6th in 6A Public)

2021 Outlook:

The Indians return a lot of young guys with experience in the skill positions. Rising junior QB Chandler Desanto will have maybe the best WR group in 6A to throw to in 2021. 1st Team All Region wideout JJ House returns along with Kameron Parker and Will Daniel. Rising junior RB Marty Seagraves is slated to get the majority of work in the Indian backfield in ’21.

The Indians return a core of solid LBs with experience in 2021. Seniors JR Early and Riley Ross will be joined by sophomore Ryland Steen who had an outstanding freshman season. House, Parker and Daniel will be joined in the secondary by soph Jacob Seagraves, another Indian that has the potential to be a very good high school football player.

NwGAFootball Take:

The Indians were hit harder by Covid quarantines than any other team in 2020. Twice they had stretches of 21 days without playing a game and were still able to win a couple of games and be competitive. Armuchee has the experience coming back in the skill positions but the question mark is going to be the OL/DL in 2021 having to replace 3 All Region guys upfront (Hayden Murray, Grant Taylor, Connor Buffington). Young Indians, Rising sophomores CJ Collins and Cameron Anthony , will be counted on in 2021.

Prediction: 6th in 6A

The Indians are the dark horse in Region 6A in 2021. They have the experience at the skill positions to win some games and make the playoffs if some guys across the front work hard and step up this Spring and Summer.
