# The Darlington Tigers are big favorites over Mt.Paran in the Region opener. Next week is the big one when they travel to #6 Christian Heritage.
# Rome looks for its 3rd win in a row in the Region after a opening week loss to Carrollton.
# 6-1 Augusta Christian visits Trion. The Bulldogs won big last week over SE Whitfield and will look to keep the momentum going this Friday.

#7 AA Bremen (2-0) at Pepperell (0-2): The Dragons continue their gauntlet of a non region schedule facing their 3rd Top 15 team in a row from 5AA. Bremen visits Lindale for a rare Saturday night game, thanks to Hurricane Sally, riding a high from last weeks big win over rival Bowdon 59-22. Blue Devil senior RB Montarious Banks had 200 yards rushing with 4 TDs and will be a big challenge for the Pepperell defense.
Trion (0-1) at Model (1-1): The Blue Devils have taken both games to the wire so far in 2020. A last second missed FG verse Sonoraville that led to an overtime loss in game one and a late punt return late in the 4th to defeat a good LaFayette team on the road. Trion battled it out at Coosa last week coming up short in a game that went 4 OTs. This game features 2 of the better RBs in NWGA. Trion junior RB Rob Brown went over 100 yards with 4 TDs last week and Model senior Joseph Wallace has rushed for 272 thru the 1st two weeks.
St. Francis (0-2) at Darlington (1-0): The Tigers opened the 2020 season with a 32-7 win over Lakeview Academy behind 132 yards rushing from senior RB Harrison Allen. St. Francis comes in 0-2 and has struggled to put points on the board only averaging 7 ppg against 2 ranked opponents (North Cobb Christian and Athens Christian).
On the Road:
Chattooga (1-1) at Sonoraville (1-0): Chattooga broke into the win column last week with a 28-14 win over Pickens and will look to stop Sonoraville standout QB Brady Lackey and company. Senior QB Cash Allen has had a good start to 2020 averaging over 200 yds ppg in the air.
Coosa (1-0) at Lookout Valley, TN (2-2): The Eagles escaped last week with a 4 OT victory over Trion and will board the buses Friday and head to Chattanooga to face Class A Lookout Valley.
#8 AAAAA Rome (1-0) at Cherokee (2-0): Tough test for the Wolves as they travel to Canton to face Cherokee from Region 5AAAAAAA. Cherokee has put together a couple of impressive wins over Carver and Sequoyah.
